Course fees
Fees includes use of tools, some stone and equipment. Extra stones are available for a small charge: £5 -£10 depending on the stone used. Catering arrangements vary according to venue.
Broadrake: The course is for maximum of 8 students. Fee £275, includes delicious lunches and refreshments.

lettercarving courses
Beginners and intermediate workshops
These workshops are for ten to twelve people, shaped to individual needs, and hosted in a variety of interesting venues mainly in Cumbria. Unless otherwise shown, course length is three days. An introductory slide show will be followed by demonstrations of lettering styles, drawing techniques and methods of carving with chisels, and much individual tuition. Stone, tools and materials are provided, though students are welcome to bring their own stone and project. Please note, course times and catering vary between venues.
